Training 

​

• Pawsitive Training uses reward based methods and trains with positive reinforcement. This means any tools such as choke chains, slip leads, prong collars, shock/ spray collars or use of aversive methods must not be used during training.

• Training based on theories such as dominance, pack or alpha theory will also not be used during sessions.

• It is the responsibility of the client to keep their dog under control in public.

• The dogs progression is the responsibility of the client and commitment to training advice/ plan.

• Pawsitive Training can end a session if a person or animal is at risk. This includes weather risk.

• Children under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult, and will be their responsibility during the session.

Travel 

​

• Pawsitive Training covers all of Surrey, however locations over a 15 miles radius will incur a travel charge of £1 per mile. 

• Pawsitive Training is based in Ripley, and so miles will be from this location. 

• Other options are available, e.g Zoom sessions, or meeting within the 15 miles.

Payment 

​

• Booking dates and times cannot be confirmed until payment in full has been made.

• Payments need be made prior to the first session of any package.

• In order to receive discount on packages, the payment has to be made in full. 

• Payment should be made via BACs.

• Service prices are non-negotiable.

• Pawsitive Training cannot offer refunds.

Cancellation or rescheduling 

​

• Pawsitive Training has a 48 hour cancellation or rescheduling policy.

• Services that are cancelled within the 48 hours are non-refundable.

• Notice needs to be given 48 hours before your session via email or message if you wish to reschedule (Covid-19 positive and emergency situations taken into account).

• Packages should completed within within a 6 month period (unless discussed otherwise as part of the training plan)
